Beating the Bounds - Hanwell - London

Oh what a wonderful walk I had today! 8 miles long!

Here we are at the start. Wasn't sure what was going on. All these people turned up with willow sticks in their hands. Auntie E went into the pub and came straight back out with a leaflet ... and a willow stick - but no chewie!

This is a boundary stone - I was asked to pose.

Here the group found another stone.
Auntie E didn't see the stone for the rape seed in flower.
Typical beekeeper!

I'm so lucky to live in London!

The willows by the river Brent had some work done.
Its good, but beekeeper auntie E will be tutting for loss of catkin pollen.

This is a stone on the golf course.
Just as I found a bone, auntie S was ready to go.

These boys were the coolest.
While everybody was talking history, they found history!

And if you want to read history, its here: Beating the Bounds - Hanwell
